    LED (light emitting diode) lighting is a kind of semiconductor solid light-emitting device. 

    It make use of solid semiconductor chip as a luminescent material. By combining electrons with holes LED can directly emit red, yellow, blue, green light. On this basis, according to the 3 primary colors principle, through adding phosphor, LED can emit red, yellow, blue, green, green, orange, purple, white and other arbitrary color light.
